Field Operator II (Compressor Operator)

Our client is seeking a Compressor Operator to work within their facilities located in Midland, TX on an initial 12‑month assignment (with possibility of extension or becoming permanent). Responsibilities Learn daily gas compressor and compressor facility operations. Maintain good housekeeping. Handle on‑call duties and drive company vehicle to locations. Perform work in learning mode, using appropriate tools, diagnosing, repairing or replacing equipment. Conduct basic troubleshooting and maintain up‑to‑date reporting of facility operations. Be responsible for all aspects required for the JBPE. Interact daily with Foremen, Compressor Operators, Mechanics, Lease Operators and occasionally contractors. Perform other duties as assigned by a Supervisor, including special projects and technological efficiency initiatives. Skills & Qualifications Prior compressor gas lift operations experience preferred. Mechanical or oilfield related experience required – 2.5 years preferred. Must be able to work nights. Education & Experience High School diploma required. Prior mechanical and/or oil‑field experience required.
