Senior Quality Engineer

Responsibilities

Architect, implement, and scale automated quality engineering frameworks and systems for Apple Maps.
Drive quality engineering strategy across the Apple Maps performance experience and its foundational components.
Establish performance metrics and observability standards to proactively identify regressions and reliability issues.
Apply advanced quality engineering practices across iOS, macOS, watchOS, visionOS, and CarPlay.
Analyze technical issues and communicate actionable recommendations to diverse stakeholders.

Requirements

Bachelor of Science in Computer Science or equivalent.
6+ years of Quality Engineering experience specializing in large-scale test automation and advanced quality engineering practices.
Understanding of testing methodologies.
Proficiency in at least one automation language such as Python, Java, or JavaScript/TypeScript.
Ability to collaborate effectively in diverse, fast-paced, deadline-driven environments and communicate complex technical analysis.
Preferred: knowledge of power management and battery-life analysis.
Preferred: experience testing native iOS/macOS applications with the XCUITest framework.
