Apply today!**About the role**As a **Maintenance Mechanic,** you will be responsible for the planned, unplanned, and preventative maintenance tasks required to ensure safe and efficient operational effectiveness of equipment and systems which enable Reworld’s industrial disposal process.**This position is 2nd Shift: 3:30 pm - 12:00 am****Position Responsibilities:*** Effectively complete preventive maintenance tasks per maintenance schedule to prevent breakdowns of equipment and operational downtime* Utilize root-cause analysis skills to investigate breakdown and line stoppages collaborating with various teams and stakeholders* Prioritize work to ensure timely maintenance, repair and installation of equipment, tools, and utility systems to minimize production downtime and complete all required paperwork and documentation in the company’s computerized maintenance documentation program* Utilize Reworld’s defined maintenance documentation program to open and close out work orders, check out spare parts, and other activities as required in the plant.* Repair and/or maintain the operating condition of industrial production or processing machinery or equipment including inspection, assembly, disassembly, and replacement as necessary* Observe and evaluate the operation of machinery or equipment to diagnose malfunctions utilizing mechanical devices* Review maintenance reports and statistics to plan and modify maintenance activities* Inspect operating machines and equipment for conformance with operational and safety performance standards.**Position Requirements & Qualifications:*** High School Diploma or equivalent, preferred* A minimum of 2-4 years’ experience in a heavy industrial/manufacturing environment* Must have the ability to work a rotating shift schedule**Total Rewards & Compensation:*** Competitive Base Salary* Day one employee benefits: competitive health insurance options, PTO, retirement savings plan and 401K match**Physical Demands of the Role:*** Ability to walk, stand, sit, and climb* Ability to lift/carry 50lbs* Ability to work from heights and in confined spaces* Qualify to wear a full-face respirator* Consistently work in various weather conditionsAll Reworld positions require a candidate's ability to perform the duties and responsibilities of the role while upholding Reworld's Values, including (but not limited to) contributing to a safe and inclusive workplace, delivering results through trust, and building breakthrough capabilities.Please note that Level, Title and/or Salary may be adjusted based on the applicant's experience or skills.**Pay Transparency** Reworld is committed to paying its staff equitably, and we strive to provide competitive compensation and benefits packages. The range below reflects Reworld’s reasonable estimate of base pay for this role based on primary posting location. It is expected that most qualified candidates in this location will fall within the posting range. The final salary offered for this role will be determined based on factors including, but not limited to: experience, education, geographic location, skills and competencies, travel requirements and/or union contracts (if applicable).
