The Opportunity

Seeking a General Dentist with experience treating pediatric patients (Locum Tenens) to provide high-quality, compassionate dental care at Vital Smiles of Georgia. This is a temporary, full-time opportunity ideal for a provider who enjoys working in a collaborative, child-focused environment.

Assignment Details

• Location: Norcross, Georgia
• Assignment Dates: June 9, 16, 17, and 18
• Schedule:
  • Hours: 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM
  • Lunch: 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM

What You’ll Do

• Provide comprehensive general dentistry to pediatric patients
• Maintain strong daily production while delivering quality care
• Deliver patient-centered treatment in a supportive, team-oriented environment
• Operative care along with hygiene checks throughout the day
• Comfortable with all pediatric procedures including SSC crowns, fillings, pulpotomies, restorative treatment (fillings), and extractions
• Able to manage 12–15 operative patients per day while intermingling hygiene checks -approximately 70% hygiene checks/recare exams
• Needs Nitrous sedation
• Comfortable seeing up to 50 patients per day (Typically 35+)

Requirements

• DDS or DMD from an accredited program
• Active GA dental license (or ability to obtain)
• Comfortable treating children
• Strong efficiency in a productive practice setting
• Active Medicaid Provider ID required or application submitted
• Current Nitrous Oxide Certification (if required by state) – most patient care is done with this
