Wastewater Operations Supervisor (DRC)

*Overview*
PUCI is seeking an experienced operations supervisor to provide Direct Responsible Charge (DRC) of our wastewater systems. This role oversees daily operations, supervises field staff, ensures regulatory compliance, and maintains efficient system performance.

*Responsibilities*

* Supervise and schedule operations staff; coordinate routine, training, and emergency work
* Oversee system operations, maintenance, and equipment performance
* Ensure compliance with safety standards and Department of Health Regulations
* Manage inventory, procurement, and contractor coordination
* Support budgeting, reporting, and operational planning
* Assist with routine system operations, inspections, and on-call duties

*Experience*

* Valid Driver's License
* Hawaii wastewater certifications (Grade 3 or 4)
* 8+ years of wastewater experience
* Strong leadership, communication, training, and organizational skills
* Knowledge of pumps, motors, and system maintenance practices
* Smith & Loveless Sewer Pump Stations a plus

*Physical Requirements*

* Ability to preform field work, including lifting up to 50 pounds and working in various environmental conditions

Onsite housing quarters an option.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $68,761.87 per year
