Job Summary
The CT Technologist position is located in The Dalles, Oregon. This role involves operating computed tomography (CT) equipment to produce cross-sectional images of patients' bones, organs, and tissues for diagnostic purposes. The position also includes performing general radiography and fluoroscopy procedures. The role is represented by OFNHP and requires proficiency in various imaging modalities to support the healthcare facility's patient care objectives.

Job Details

• Schedule: Rotating shift; 8 hours per shift; minimum 40 hours per week
• Required Qualifications: Associates degree in Radiologic Technology; registered by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (R.T. (R)(CT)(ARRT) or R.T. (R)(ARRT)); advanced certification in computed tomography (ARRT-Computed Tomography or ARRT-CT); Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from approved vendor; fluoroscopy license in state of employment; venipuncture certification in CA and OR; minimum 3 years of experience in CT
• Preferred Qualifications: License in HI; additional certifications or licenses as applicable in different states
• Essential Functions: Assesses, plans, implements, and evaluates imaging care for patients from adolescence through geriatrics; produces reformatted sagittal and coronal images; uses Picture Archiving and Communication System (PACS) and teleradiology systems to transfer images securely; maintains accurate record and billing information; ensures image and data integrity following HIPAA guidelines; performs routine maintenance and calibration of imaging equipment; manages supply inventory; performs other related duties as assigned
