Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled software developer with a strong foundation in application security concepts to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have 2 5 years of experience in software development, demonstrating a commitment to building secure and efficient applications. This role is crucial in ensuring that our software solutions are not only functional but also secure against potential vulnerabilities.

Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and maintain high quality software applications in accordance with project requirements.
• Implement and enforce application security best practices throughout the software development lifecycle.
• Conduct code reviews and security assessments to identify and mitigate vulnerabilities.
• Collaborate with cross functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.
• Participate in troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving software issues.
• Stay updated with the latest industry trends and security threats to enhance application security.
• Document development processes, code changes, and security measures taken.

Mandatory Skills:

• Strong knowledge of application security concepts, including secure coding practices, threat modeling, and vulnerability assessment.
• Proficiency in programming languages such as Java, C#, Python, or JavaScript.
• Experience with web application frameworks and RESTful APIs.
• Familiarity with version control systems (e.g., Git).
• Understanding of database management systems and SQL.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a remote work environment.

Preferred Skills:

• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud).
• Knowledge of DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines.
• Familiarity with security tools and frameworks (e.g., OWASP, SAST, DAST).
• Experience in Agile/Scrum methodologies.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 2 5 years of professional experience in software development with a focus on application security.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities.
