Fabrication Specialist Team Lead Company: The Boeing Company Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking a Fabrication Specialist Team Lead to join our Interiors Responsibility Team in Ladson, South Carolina on 1st shift. This role offers an exciting opportunity within a dynamic manufacturing environment. Team members will leverage their prior experience, and the knowledge gained from training and certifications to complete daily assigned tasks effectively. Position Responsibilities: Perform machine set-up and fabrication tasks Perform composite lay-up, fabrication, and assembly tasks Assemble precision mechanical and electro-mechanical components Assemble and install wire harnesses and avionics products Prepare test articles, fixtures, and data collection devices to perform various tests Perform basic organic chemical conversion and paint preparation Apply routine organic coatings for corrosion protection and appearance requirements Work on articles of limited complexity following established drawings and requirements This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in Ladson, SC. Employer will not sponsor applicants for employment visa status. Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience): 3+ years experience in manufacturing, fabrication, or assembly processes and procedures 1+ year of Formal or Informal leadership experience 1+ year of experience using software applications for internet navigation, email, Microsoft Suite and/or other specialized computer applications 1+ year of experience following detailed work instructions, reading, and interpreting blueprints, drawings, or specifications Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience): Demonstrates strong effective communication skills Strong work ethic and sense of urgency for completing assigned tasks/work Conflict of Interest: Successful candidates for this job must satisfy the Company’s Conflict of Interest (COI) assessment process.
