### Exciting Outpatient Counselor Opportunity! Job Description
- Join a dynamic outpatient behavioral health clinic in Arizona!
- Seeking an Independently Licensed Outpatient Counselor for a rewarding 6-week contract .
- Be a vital part of a team that provides general mental health counseling. Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct initial intake assessments for patients.
- Develop comprehensive treatment plans tailored to individual needs.
- Provide impactful interventions based on treatment plans.
- Primarily serve existing patients during another clinician's paternity leave.
- Potential to take on new patients as needed. Work Schedule:
- Enjoy a flexible shift arrangement with 3x8-hour shifts from 08:00 - 17:30 .
- Choose any three consecutive weekdays to work. Location Benefits:
- Free parking for all employees.
- Experience a supportive and collaborative working environment. Requirements:
- Must hold a State of Arizona Behavioral Health License (LCSW, LPC, LMFT, or Licensed Psychologist).
- Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association.
- Application number for Fingerprint Clearance Card is required.
- Minimum of 1 year of experience in a counseling role.
- First-timers are welcome to apply! Preferred Skills:
- Experience with discharge planning .
- Proficiency in individual counseling .
- Familiarity with the Cerner charting system is a plus. Patient Care Details:
- Work with adolescents and adults in a caring setting.
- Engage with patients facing general mental health concerns.
