Payroll Specialist

Salary - $75-95k plus bonus
Job Summary
Bell & Associates is partnering with a construction company in Nashville, TN, to identify an experienced Payroll Specialist. The ideal candidate will have 3+ years of payroll experience, preferably within the construction industry or a similar environment. Experience with CMiC software is a significant plus.
Responsibilities
- -Process payroll accurately and timely in accordance with company policies and applicable regulations.
- -Review employee timesheets, timecards, overtime, and payroll deductions.
- -Resolve payroll discrepancies and respond to employee payroll inquiries.
- -Maintain accurate and confidential payroll records.
- -Assist with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and tax-related documentation.
- -Collaborate with HR, accounting, and field teams to ensure accurate payroll processing.
Qualifications
- -3+ years of hands-on payroll processing experience.
- -Construction industry experience preferred.
- -CMiC software experience is a major plus.
- -Knowledge of payroll procedures, overtime calculations, and wage and hour regulations.
- -Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll systems.
- -Strong attention to detail, organizational skills, and ability to meet deadlines.
- -Ability to handle confidential information professionally.
