Position Summary Charleston Oncology, PA is currently seeking a Hematologist Oncologist to address growing patient demand within our state-of-the-art cancer facilities. Our elite team comprises eleven Hematologists Oncologists with over 100 years of combined experience. We operate six locations across the lowcountry and anticipate exponential growth. We prioritize work‑life balance with shared call responsibilities and balanced patient loads, supporting new graduates to learn the tools needed for a successful practice. View more at Responsibilities Provide services and treatments, including medical oncology, hematology, diagnostic testing, clinical research, and pharmacy. Work with patients to explain diagnoses, cancer stages, discuss treatment options, and assist in managing side effects and symptoms. Maximize patient and family convenience. Provide compassionate, comprehensive cancer treatment in a comfortable environment. Assist patients with pain management. Maintain records of test results, write prescriptions, provide patients with information on cancer, and monitor treatment plans. Education Medical degree in oncology; successful completion of residency and fellowship in oncology. Experience Five or more years of experience in an oncology environment, or recent completion of a hematology/medical oncology fellowship program. Skills Caring and compassionate with patients; up-to-date working knowledge of cancers and cancer treatment options; appropriate technical skills to operate equipment related to cancer treatment; strong communication, interpersonal, and leadership skills. #J-18808-Ljbffr
