Safety First Culture Strong Leadership & Smart Growth Quality Workmanship Long‑Term Client Relationships Investing in People Position Overview As a Mission Critical Electrical Estimator, you will play a key role in the pursuit and execution of complex electrical construction projects including: Hyperscale Data Centers Mission Critical Facilities Industrial & Manufacturing Facilities Distribution Centers Large Commercial Projects You’ll work closely with operations, preconstruction, project management, vendors, subcontractors, and executive leadership to develop accurate, competitive, and strategic estimates that drive project success. Key Responsibilities Review electrical drawings, specifications, and project documents Perform detailed takeoffs and prepare accurate cost estimates Develop budgets, proposals, bid packages, and scope reviews Analyze labor, material, equipment, and subcontractor pricing Coordinate with vendors, suppliers, engineers, and operations teams Participate in preconstruction planning and value engineering efforts Assist with project turnover and support awarded projects Identify risks, opportunities, and cost‑saving strategies Maintain strong relationships with clients, subcontractors, and industry partners Support continuous improvement of estimating processes and systems Qualifications Preferred Experience 4+ years of electrical estimating experience Experience in: Mission Critical / Data Centers Industrial Construction Large Commercial Construction Design‑Build Projects Fast‑Track Construction Environments Technical Skills Accubid or similar estimating software Bluebeam Microsoft Excel Blueprint and specification interpretation Strong understanding of NEC and electrical systems Professional Skills Strong communication and collaboration abilities High attention to detail and organization Strategic and analytical thinking Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast‑paced environment Self‑motivated with a solutions‑oriented mindset Requirements High School Diploma or GED required Post‑secondary education or industry certifications preferred Valid Driver’s License Ability to pass background check and drug screening What You’ll Find at Ace Strong backlog and long‑term project stability Career growth opportunities with one of the nation’s top electrical contractors Large, complex, high‑visibility projects Collaborative leadership team Safety and people‑focused culture Opportunities to support major mission critical growth initiatives Competitive compensation and benefits package Equal Opportunity Employer Ace Electric is proud to be an Equal Opportunity Employer.
