Essential Qualifications:

• Valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Maryland (or eligibility to obtain)
• Experience in a school-based or pediatric environment is highly preferred
• Strong understanding of IEPs and compliance within educational frameworks
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills for working with students, families, and school staff
• Ability to manage a dynamic caseload and adapt therapy interventions to diverse student needs
• Responsible, organized, and committed to foster a positive learning atmosphere

Primary Responsibilities:

• Conduct thorough evaluations of students to determine physical needs and appropriate interventions
• Develop and implement individualized therapy plans aligned with students’ educational goals
• Collaborate with teachers, support staff, and parents to facilitate effective therapy integration in the classroom
• Monitor progress, update documentation, and participate in multidisciplinary team meetings
• Educate and guide school staff on best practices to support students’ physical mobility and participation
• Maintain accurate records and ensure confidentiality of student information
