Senior Project Manager (8486)

Overview:

Our client, a respected architecture and engineering firm, is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead complex, multidisciplinary design and engineering projects from concept through completion while mentoring the next generation of project leaders. With 10+ years of experience, this role is central to delivering high-quality architectural and engineering solutions, driving design integrity, and ensuring successful execution of technically complex projects. The ideal candidate excels at managing multidisciplinary design teams, building lasting client relationships, and bringing both technical expertise and innovative thinking to every project. This full-time position is located in Kalispell, MT.

Responsibilities:

• Drive excellence in design and leadership.
• Engage innovative projects that shape our communities while leading high-performing teams to new heights.
• Independently supervise Project teams through all phases of project execution, including contract management, design, documentation, permitting, and construction administration.
• Demonstrate proficiency in the design and technical aspects of projects while overseeing internal budgets, drafting fee proposals, conducting earned-value analysis, managing invoicing, and ensuring alignment with client objectives and successful budget execution.
• Develop and manage project schedules, ensuring that milestones are achieved on time and within scope.

Requirements:

• Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Architecture or Engineering, and 10+ years of professional experience in the building industry.
• Licensure in Architecture, Engineering (NCARB or PE), and/or Project Management Professional Certification (PMP).
• Proven leadership and project management expertise, with a strong ability to manage multiple complex architecture and engineering projects simultaneously.
• Outstanding organization, attentiveness to detail, and excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Ability to prioritize strategically and demonstrate flexibility to achieve long-range goals.
• Experience with Autodesk Revit, Microsoft 365, and Bluebeam, with a strong understanding of how to utilize these tools for effective project management and seamless collaboration.
