We are seeking a dependable and customer-focused Meat & Seafood Clerk to join our team. The ideal candidate will assist customers with their meat and seafood selections, maintain attractive product displays, ensure food safety standards are followed, and help create a positive shopping experience.ResponsibilitiesProvide outstanding customer service and product recommendations.Package, label, and stock meat and seafood products.Maintain fresh, clean, and appealing meat and seafood displays.Monitor product quality, freshness, and expiration dates.Follow all food safety, sanitation, and company procedures.Assist with receiving deliveries and organizing inventory.Operate scales, wrapping equipment, and other department tools.Keep work areas, coolers, and preparation areas clean and organized.Answer customer questions regarding products, preparation methods, and cooking suggestions.Work collaboratively with team members and management to meet department goals.QualificationsPrevious grocery, meat department, seafood, retail, or food service experience preferred but not required.Strong customer service and communication skills.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.Comfortable working in refrigerated areas.Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for extended periods.Reliable attendance and a positive attitude.
