Gastroenterology Physician

Seeking a BC/BE Gastroenterologist to join an established and expanding Digestive Health program in Southern Maine, providing comprehensive inpatient and outpatient gastroenterology care within a collaborative, hospital-based environment.

• Provide full-spectrum gastroenterology care in both inpatient and outpatient settings
• Perform diagnostic and therapeutic endoscopic procedures including EGD and colonoscopy
• Manage a wide range of GI conditions including IBD, GERD, liver disease, hepatitis, pancreatic disorders, and GI bleeding
• Perform procedures such as biopsy, polypectomy, hemostasis, dilation, and PEG placement
• Participate in a shared call schedule within a supportive team structure
• Collaborate with hospitalists, surgeons, oncology, radiology, and primary care teams
• Engage in quality improvement, peer review, and patient safety initiatives
• Maintain accurate and timely EMR documentation
