The Quality Assurance Manager serves as a critical member of Admiral Security Services' Quality Management Program within the Support Services Department and plays an essential role in ensuring service quality, contractual compliance, operational consistency, brand reputation, and adherence to company standards. This position is designated as essential personnel and serves as a member of the divisional management team with the authority to direct, coach, discipline, and supervise employees in the performance of their duties.

Utilizing Admiral's security accountability and workforce management technology platforms, the Quality Assurance Manager conducts quality assurance inspections, audits, and field assessments to verify compliance with company policies, client requirements, post orders, training standards, licensing requirements, and operational expectations. Through the analysis of inspection findings and operational trends, the Quality Assurance Manager develops and implements strategic inspection schedules, corrective action plans, and quality improvement initiatives designed to strengthen accountability, improve service delivery, and reduce operational risk.

As one of the company's primary after-hours management representatives, the Quality Assurance Manager provides leadership presence during evenings, nights, weekends, holidays, and emergency situations when traditional management coverage may be limited. The position exercises sound judgment and serves as a key liaison between Security Officers, Site Supervisors, Operations Management, Human Resources, and Support Services to address performance concerns, reinforce company standards, and promote operational excellence.

The Quality Assurance Manager is entrusted with enforcing company policies and standards and, when appropriate, may initiate and administer performance management and corrective action measures in accordance with company policy. The position utilizes a marked company vehicle while performing assigned duties and is expected to maintain a professional and visible management presence throughout assigned operational areas.

The Quality Assurance Manager reports directly to the Vice President, Support Services, is on call 24 hours per day, 7 days per week, and is classified as a salaried exempt position.

Responsibilities

• Conduct site inspections to ensure compliance with Admiral and client policies, procedures, and standards. Ensures compliance with regulatory requirements and laws. Inspections are primarily conducted after normal business hours (i.e., nights and weekends) at the discretion of the Division Manager, Support Services and the Vice President of Support Services. These inspections must be properly documented, and summary reports should be prepared weekly.
• Conduct full scale site audits for accounts or portfolios as deemed necessary by the Division Manager, Support Services and/or the Vice President of Support Services. Audits include a thorough review of training requirements, post orders, employee morale, licensing requirements, time and attendance records, contractual compliance, contractual deliverables, and other items as directed.
• The Quality Assurance Manager may also be required to participate in penetration testing and assist with job startups.
• The Quality Assurance Manager may be required to relieve Admiral employees whose conduct and/or, performance necessitate that he/she immediately remove them from the job site.
• Should the Quality Assurance Manager discover any situation where an open post exists, he or she will need to stand post until relief arrives.
• In the event of any site emergency, the Quality Assurance Manager must be prepared to supervise and provide management support to the site with or in lieu of Operations Management.
• The Quality Assurance Manager may be temporarily assigned to work at accounts or special assignments based on the needs of the company.
• Other duties as assigned at the sole discretion of the company.

Qualifications

• The ideal candidate must:
• Be able to work independently with minimal oversight.
• Have working knowledge of MS Excel, MS Word and MS Outlook
• Be able to work varying hours to include frequent nights and weekends.
• Be able to communicate effectively, both in writing and orally, with security officers, managers and senior leaders to convey findings of audits and inspections.
• Possess and maintain a valid driver's license and driving record acceptable to the company.
• Must possess excellent interpersonal skills. Be able to meet all background requirements.
• Must be able to become a CPR/AED certified instructor.
• Position requires knowledge of technology (Tablets, cell phones).
• Must be able to obtain and maintain Armed and Unarmed Security licenses for Maryland, Virginia, and the District of Columbia.
• Position requires work inside and outside in varying temperatures. This position requires standing for prolonged periods of time (90%), walking, bending and some lifting. A portion of this position may require sitting in front of a computer for prolonged periods of time. Position will require driving.
• The Quality Assurance Manager may also be required to obtain training certifications in the event the he or she may need to instruct or assist with a scheduled class.
