Staff Accountant

Location: Mount Laurel, NJ Salary: $70,000 Schedule: Hybrid Reports to: Manager of Strategy & Finance About the Opportunity Staff Accountant - Hybrid We are seeking a Staff Accountant to join a growing team in a role that combines traditional accounting responsibilities with broader finance and analytical support. This is an excellent opportunity for an accounting professional who enjoys working across both the accounting and finance functions and wants exposure beyond day-to-day transactional accounting. Key Responsibilities Maintain and support the general ledger , including journal entries and account reconciliations Prepare and post journal entries accurately and timely Perform monthly account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies Assist with month-end and year-end close activities Support financial reporting and analysis Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and other finance-related projects Analyze financial information and provide support to the Manager of Strategy & Finance Help maintain accurate financial records and ensure accounting policies and procedures are followed Assist with ad hoc accounting and finance projects as needed Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field preferred Experience in a Staff Accountant or similar accounting role Strong understanding of general ledger accounting, journal entries, and account reconciliations Strong attention to detail and organizational skills Ability to analyze financial information and identify discrepancies Proficiency with Microsoft Excel Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with a team Strong communication and problem-solving skills Hybrid Schedule Monday: Work from home Tuesday: In office Wednesday: Flexible/floater day Thursday: In office Friday: Work from home Compensation: $70,000 annually If you're an accounting professional looking for a role that blends accounting, finance, and strategic support within a flexible hybrid environment, we'd love to hear from you.
