Job Description:

The Registered Nurse in the Cardiac Cath Lab is responsible for administering and monitoring patients during procedures, assessing and monitoring patient clinical status, and effectively communicating with the patient care team and families.

Responsibilities:

• Administering and monitoring conscious sedation
• Assessing and monitoring the clinical status of patients
• Understanding and utilizing medications used in the Cath Lab
• Applying knowledge of radiation safety and infection control
• Providing hemodynamic support
• Communicating with patient care teams, patients, and families

Requirements:

• Minimum Experience: 2 years
• Required Licensure/Certifications: BLS and ACLS
• Skills with EMR systems: EPIC and Merge
• Theoretical and practical knowledge in Cath Lab procedures
