Schedule / Job Type

Contract | Days | 4x10-hour shifts (7:30 AM – 6:00 PM, Monday–Friday with one rotating day off) | Possible weekend coverage | On-call required (one primary call shift per week and one primary call weekend per month; 30-minute callback time)

Key Responsibilities

• Provide direct patient care within an inpatient and outpatient Interventional Radiology department
• Assist with procedures across four angiography suites (two single-plane and two biplane), a dedicated CT scanner, and a multipurpose fluoroscopy suite
• Support minimally invasive vascular, neuro, and oncologic interventional procedures
• Participate in on-call rotation including one primary call shift per week and one primary call weekend per month with a 30-minute callback requirement
• Document patient care accurately using Epic EMR
• Participate in holiday coverage rotation as required per contract terms

Required Qualifications

• Active Virginia state RN license or valid Compact RN license (pending license accepted only for candidates holding a single-state license from a non-compact state)
• Current ACLS, BLS, and PALS certifications
• Experience in neuro and peripheral interventional procedures
• Proficiency with Epic EMR (required)
• Ability to fulfill on-call obligations and holiday coverage requirements
• Must reside outside of 50 miles from the facility to be eligible (local candidates are generally not accepted; limited exceptions may apply)

Preferred Experience / Skills

• Prior travel nursing experience in an Interventional Radiology or Special Procedures setting
• Familiarity with advanced imaging technologies used in IR environments
• Experience supporting both inpatient and outpatient IR patient populations
