ECVC Attorney

We have been instructed on an incredible opportunity to join a tech/legal startup founded by experienced second-time founders. The role promises the offer of equity in the company, and therefore significant upside, as well as a the interest of supporting the development of their internal AI, working with engineers.
The Role
- Founding ECVC Attorney position - playing a vital role in the success of the company.
- Serve as a founding attorney and strategic business builder
- Own direct founder and startup client relationships
- Lead sophisticated venture financings from inception to close
- Help build the legal infrastructure of a category-defining startup
- Collaborate directly with product and engineering teams
- Support engineers in building scalable legal workflows through AI and automation
Technical experience required:
- Experience with SAFEs, convertible notes, seed financings, Series A/B rounds, and other venture financings
- Experienced in advising startup clients on Delaware formations, governance, board matters, and corporate structuring
- Experience in managing cap tables, option plans, and equity documentation
3 days required in-office (Financial District).
