# Job Opportunity – Telemetry Registered Nurse – South Carolina**Start Date:** August 17, 2026 **Location:** Charleston, South Carolina **Compensation:** Details provided to qualified applicants **Schedule:** Three 12-hour shifts per week, including every other weekend and holiday rotation**Highlights:** - 29-bed telemetry unit with 1:6 nurse-to-patient ratios- Care for telemetry and post-cardiac procedure patients including PCI, PPM, ICD, and ablations- Meditech electronic medical records system with mobile technology for each care team member- Equipment includes i-mobile phones, mobile computer workstations, Mobilab, and Alaris IV pumps- 13-week contract in a 313-bed acute care facility featuring specialized cardiac and burn services- Level II Trauma Center with accreditations for Chest Pain and Stroke Center care**Requirements:** - Active RN license in South Carolina or compact state eligibility- BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke Scale certifications required- Minimum 30 months of RN experience with at least one previous successful travel nursing assignment- Proficiency in telemetry strip interpretation and caring for post-cardiac procedure patients- Experience with cardiac drips (Cardizem, Amiodarone, Nitroglycerin, Dobutamine)- Advanced skills including phlebotomy, respiratory treatments, Foley catheter management, and telemetry monitoring- Strong time management abilities for care planning, discharge coordination, and patient education**Why It's a Great Opportunity:** This position offers the chance to work in a comprehensive telemetry unit caring for a diverse cardiac patient population in a facility known for clinical excellence and quality outcomes.
