Ultrasound Technologist


Unit: 4 ultrasound rooms serving pediatric through geriatric patients
EHR/PACS: Allscripts and InteleRad
Requirements: BLS, RDMS, NH MIRT licensure, and hospital/acute care ultrasound experience
Experience: General, vascular, and OB-GYN sonography exposure required
Preferred: RVT, OB-GYN, AB certification, OR experience, ultrasound procedure experience, and 1+ year beyond education
Equipment: Siemens Acuson S200 and GE Logiq E10
Procedures: Thoracentesis, paracentesis, FNAs, biopsies, drainages, thrombin injections, and OR ultrasound procedures
Patient Load: Approximately 8–10 patients per 8-hour shift
Float/Extra Shifts: Extra shifts may be available within the department; breast ultrasound opportunities may be available
