"We dedicate our lives to caring for yours" BayCare Health Systems Staffing Resource Office is currently seeking experienced ICU Registered Nurses to join our outstanding and compassionate float team. Assignment Details System Pool – 13‑week full‑time assignment for designated unit; block scheduling is not available. Assignments are available in Regions 1 & 3. Region 1 includes St. Anthony’s, Morton Plant, Mease Dunedin, Mease Countryside and Morton Plant Northbay hospitals. Region 3 includes South Florida Baptist, Bartow Medical Center and Winter Haven Hospitals. Responsibilities The registered nurse works in a hospital setting and independently cares for a group of patients using the nursing process and clinical standards. The registered nurse collaborates and communicates with inter‑disciplinary care providers in the development and assistance of a plan of care. Organizes, prioritizes and updates the plan of care in collaboration with the patient, family and significant others. Identifies patients at risk for injury regarding diagnosis, medication, procedure, age, etc., and prepares room environment. Performs the role of preceptor and charge nurse when assigned. Requirements Registered Nurse license. BLS and ACLS (AHA) required. Associate degree in nursing (ASN). 18 months RN experience in an acute ICU setting required. 2 years RN experience in an acute ICU setting strongly preferred. Prior experience with Cerner EMR strongly preferred. Must have independent transportation for assignments/shifts. Travel nurse experience preferred.
