Cross Country Nurses is seeking a travel nurse RN Med Surg for a travel nursing job in Crescent City, California. Job Description & Requirements Specialty: Med Surg Discipline: RN Start Date: 09/14/2026 Duration: 13 weeks 36 hours per week Shift: 12 hours, nights Employment Type: Travel Job Summary Medical Surgical Floor registered nurse position located in en_US. This role involves providing direct nursing care for patients across all age and developmental stages within the medical surgical unit of the organization. The RN will be responsible for managing patient care, coordinating with interdisciplinary teams, and performing charge nurse functions as needed. Job Details Certifications: BLS, PALS, ACLS, California RN License Education and Experience: Minimum of 2 years of recent experience in a medical surgical or telemetry setting, with at least 2 years of charge nurse experience, and experience managing patients with diagnoses such as heart failure, pneumonia, and sepsis. Schedule: Nights shift, 12 hours per shift, minimum of 36 hours per week. Responsibilities include assessing patients physiological and psychological needs, implementing care plans, and leading activities of ancillary staff. Experience with charting in Epic electronic medical record system is required. Float: Float rotation may be required. Submission Requirements: Valid RN license with Nursys upload within the last 2 weeks, applicable certifications with expiration dates, and two references obtained within the last year.
