Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Cardiac Telemetry Duration: 14 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum of 1 year of experience required. License: Current RN license required. Certifications: BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Prior travel experience. Experience managing continuous IV medications, including: - Amiodarone - Cardizem - Dobutamine - Dopamine - Milrinone - Nitroglycerin - Bumex - Lasix - Aggrastat - Argatroban - Heparin - Insulin drips Description: Successful candidates will manage cardiac drips and other critical care responsibilities. Experience with adult and geriatric patient populations is required. Candidates should be familiar with arrhythmia management and basic arrhythmia knowledge. The role involves caring for patients with cardiac CHF, chest pain, renal, pulmonary conditions, and various surgical patients. Candidates will work within a patient ratio of 1:5-6. Floating to similar units may be required as needed. Occasional on-call responsibilities may arise with a response time of 2 hours. Travelers are expected to work major holidays during their assignment. Compliance with all onboarding requirements is mandatory to ensure timely start. Candidates must possess strong competencies in telemetry and hemodynamic monitoring. The role requires willingness to assist with various patient diagnoses and procedures as per unit requirements.
