Commissioning Engineer

Overview Installation and Commissioning Engineer | Corpus Christie Texas $110,000 to $130,000 + Tremendous Benefits Join a top-tier commissioning firm supporting mission-critical facilities , data centers , and high-performance infrastructure projects . In this role, you’ll ensure seamless integration and performance of electrical, mechanical, and controls systems , including power generation, battery storage, uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) , and advanced cooling systems like HVAC, air-cooled condensers (ACCs), and cooling towers . Key Responsibilities Lead commissioning of power distribution systems , backup generators , battery energy storage systems (BESS) , UPS units , and critical cooling infrastructure for large-scale facilities. Perform functional testing, performance validation, and troubleshooting across integrated electrical and mechanical systems . Manage commissioning documentation from pre-functional checklists through final turnover packages . Collaborate with construction teams, engineering partners, and client stakeholders to coordinate schedules, resolve technical issues, and ensure on-time delivery. Maintain rigorous QA/QC standards , ensuring systems meet operational, safety, and reliability benchmarks. Support client operations teams through technical training, systems handover, and long-term performance optimization . Ideal Background Proven experience commissioning electrical power systems, UPS, BESS, HVAC, and other critical infrastructure within data centers, energy facilities, or other mission-critical environments . Strong understanding of system integration involving controls, electrical distribution, and mechanical equipment . Hands-on experience in field commissioning with cross-disciplinary coordination and detailed documentation. U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency (Green Card) required.
