We are a family owned practice in the heart of SE Portland. Our patients are well established and have a long history with our practice. We are open Monday-Thursday from 8:00-5:00 pm with the intention to open Fridays (part-time) in the future.

Pay

$65~$68 per hour

Job Description

Job Overview
We are looking for a hygienist to join our growing team! Our office is open Monday-Thursday 8:00-5:00 pm. The position is for 3-days per week, Monday, Wednesday, Thursday. We may have some flexibility if those days don't work for you.
Duties
Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including medical histories and oral examinations.
Conduct dental cleanings, scaling, and polishing to maintain optimal oral hygiene.
Utilize medical imaging techniques to assist in diagnosing dental conditions.
Educate patients on proper oral hygiene practices and the importance of regular dental visits.
Collaborate with the dental team to provide quality care in general dentistry and pediatric dentistry settings.
Qualifications
Valid state license to practice as a Dental Hygienist with local anesthetic certification.
Proficiency in dental x-rays.
Knowledge of medical coding, HIPAA regulations, and infection control practices.
Familiarity with general dentistry procedures.
Strong communication skills to effectively educate patients about their oral health.
Nitrous oxide certification not necessary

Jobley Bonus: $90 (awarded to candidates hired through Jobley)

Shift & Schedule

Shifts are from 7:30 am-5:00 pm with a lunch break from 1:00 pm-2:00 pm. Hygienists are required to have local anesthetic, CPR/BLS certification. Nitrous certificate is not required.
