We are a Sanford based manufacturing company looking for a well qualified Upholsterer to join our team!

Responsibilities:
1. Upholstering  components for furniture products in accordance with design specifications and quality standards.
2. Collaborating with design and production teams to ensure accurate interpretation of patterns and specifications.
3.Proficiently installing covers sewn onsite
4. Foam Preparation 
5. Inspecting finished products for quality assurance and making necessary adjustments.
6. Handling various fabrics, leather, and other materials to create upholstery for furniture pieces.
7. Maintaining a clean and organized work area to ensure safety and efficiency.
8. Collaborating with team members to meet production goals and deadlines.
9. Keeping abreast of industry trends and techniques to enhance skills and contribute to process improvements.

Requirements:
1. Proven experience as a commercial upholsterer preferably in furniture manufacturing.
2. Knowledge of different fabrics, materials, and sewing techniques.
3. Attention to detail and strong quality control skills.
4. Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced production environment.
5. Strong problem-solving skills and adaptability to changing tasks.
6. Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
7. Willingness to follow safety guidelines and adhere to company policies.
