Gas and Chemical Technician

Our client, a leading organization in the electronics manufacturing industry, is seeking a Gas & Chemical (Megasys Technician) with Logistics to join their team. As a Gas & Chemical Technician, you will be part of the Operations Department supporting inventory management, equipment maintenance, and safety compliance. The ideal candidate will demonstrate attention to detail, strong technical skills, and a proactive approach, which will align successfully in the organization. Job Title: Gas & Chemical (Megasys Technician) with Logistics Location: Fremont, CA Pay Range: $28.50-$32/hour Shift: Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM PST What's the Job? Support and lead inventory activities related to gas and chemical usage, including receiving and returning cylinders and ampoules. Manage inventory ordering processes and document shipments accurately. Operate material handling equipment such as pallet jacks and forklifts to move materials safely. Ensure compliance with safety and quality regulations, fostering a zero-incident culture. Provide technical support and troubleshooting for over 2000 pieces of distribution equipment across various vendors. What's Needed? Ability to lift and move cylinders and ampoules weighing over 50 lbs. Experience with inventory management, documentation, and reporting. Forklift certification and barcode experience are a plus. Knowledge of gas, chemical, or slurry equipment operations and maintenance. Strong adherence to safety protocols and emergency response procedures. What's in it for me?
