Overnight Senior Maintenance Mechanic
Location: Piscataway, NJ
Pay Rate: $35-$40 per hour plus $1.00 per hour shift differential
Schedule:
Friday 11:00PM - 7:00AM
Saturday 6:00PM - 6:00AM
Sunday 6:00PM - 6:00AM
Monday 11:00PM - 7:00AM
Off Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday
Training for up to one month 1st shift Mon-Fri 8AM - 4:30PM

Leading pharmaceutical company located in Piscataway, NJ is in need of an overnight Senior Maintenance Mechanic to join the team!

This individual will be responsible for performing advanced troubleshooting, repair, preventive maintenance, and continuous improvement activities on pharmaceutical manufacturing equipment and utility systems.

Duties:

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and PLC-controlled manufacturing equipment.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment and utility systems.
• Minimize equipment downtime through effective troubleshooting and timely repairs.
• Read and interpret blueprints, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical drawings.
• Maintain and improve preventive maintenance programs to support equipment reliability.
• Coordinate maintenance activities with production teams to ensure efficient operations.
• Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, equipment manuals, and spare parts inventories.
• Train and mentor maintenance technicians as needed.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on safety, quality, and operational efficiency.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Strong maintenance experience in manufacturing
• Experience troubleshooting and repairing mechanical systems, electrical systems, pneumatic systems, hydraulic systems, PLC controlled equipment.
