Chick-fil-A Leland FOH/ BOH Shift Leader

We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Front or Back of House Shift Leader to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the hospitality industry and a strong background in food service management. As a Shift Leader, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our drive‑thru or kitchen operates smoothly and efficiently while maintaining high standards of food quality and safety. You will lead by example, fostering a positive work environment and supporting your team in delivering exceptional service. Duties Oversee daily drive‑thru, front counter or kitchen operations, ensuring adherence to food safety and sanitation standards. Assist in managing kitchen staff, including training, scheduling, and performance evaluations. Ensure all food is prepared according to recipes and presentation standards. Handle customer inquiries and resolve any issues that may arise during service. Maintain cleanliness and organization of the drive‑thru or kitchen area, including equipment and storage. Monitor food costs and assist in budgeting for the kitchen department. Requirements Previous experience in a leadership role within a restaurant setting is preferred. Strong knowledge of food management practices, including safety regulations. Excellent team management skills with the ability to motivate and train staff effectively. Familiarity with POS systems for efficient order processing. Proven experience in hospitality or restaurant management is an asset. Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment while maintaining attention to detail. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with staff and customers effectively. Flexibility to work various shifts, including evenings and weekends as needed.
