Your Role: Office Custodian

The Office Custodian is responsible for maintaining a clean, safe, and organized office environment. This role ensures all workspaces, restrooms, common areas, and break rooms meet cleanliness and sanitation standards. The Office Custodian manages cleaning supplies, follows health and safety guidelines, and supports a positive workplace experience for employees and visitors. The ideal candidate is dependable, detail-oriented, and takes pride in maintaining a professional environment.

What You'll Do
• Clean and maintain offices, restrooms, break rooms, conference rooms, and common areas to ensure a safe and sanitary work environment
• Perform daily cleaning duties including sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, dusting, disinfecting surfaces, and emptying trash and recycling
• Restock and monitor cleaning and restroom supplies; notify management when inventory needs replenishing
• Follow all workplace health and safety guidelines, including proper handling and storage of cleaning chemicals
• Maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the facility and ensure all areas are orderly and presentable
• Report maintenance issues, safety hazards, or needed repairs to management promptly
• Secure the building as required, including locking doors and turning off lights at the end of shifts (as applicable)
• Support special cleaning projects as needed, such as deep cleaning, event setup/cleanup, or seasonal tasks
• Work cooperatively with team members and staff to maintain a positive and professional office environment

What You Need to Succeed:

No diploma required
Previous cleaning or custodial experience preferred
Reliable attendance required
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Effective communication and teamwork skills
Ability to speak, read, and/or write in English or Spanish is a plus

Work Environment

• Work is performed in a typical office setting
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds
• Requires standing, walking, and bending for extended periods
