This position is responsible for safe and efficient maintenance of equipment at the Ireland Loadout. Pay Type: Hourly Pay Range:$35.837/hr ESSENTIAL JOB DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES Performing maintenance on pumps Electrical/Maintenance tow boat Performing maintenance on conveyor systems and heavy media vessel Perform maintenance on mobile equipment General Maintenance and repair at the facility Welding and cutting Operate a D9 Dozer; successfully pass a written and field test Operate a 988 End Loader; successfully pass a written and field test Decking responsibilities Electrical troubleshooting, AC/DC, knowledge with PLC Other general labor functions Experience Minimum one (1) year experience in mechanical river operations Must possess a TWIC card Minimum one (1) year experience in electrical surface conditions Job Requirements Must be at least 18 years old High School Diploma or GED, preferred Must pass companys written and practical testing Reliable transportation Regular and punctual attendance Effective communication is required Work Safely Wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), required Must be able to work safely and effectively as part of a team or independently Must be able to successfully pass a post offer drug test and background check Ability to work in the United States without sponsorship JOB SCHEDULE AND PHYSICAL DEMANDS Must be able to work overtime, weekends and holidays as needed or as schedule requires (subject to applicants religious practices) Must be able to work 6 days a week and overtime as needed; (subject to the applicants religious practices) Ability/willingness to work any shift assigned Ability to lift floor-to-waist and waist-to-overhead Ability to push/pull as needed Standing, bending, step climbing, crawling and working overhead Ability to perform heavy labor and lift 50+ pounds as needed Benefits 401k with 6% employer match for eligible employees Employee Savings Plans for eligible employees Comprehensive medical, dental, vision & Rx benefits Basic Life/ADD Insurance; optional Term Life, Accidental Life Insurance Additional Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity and Accident Insurance benefits for eligible employees Short and Long-Term Disability benefits for eligible employees Monthly & annual bonus plans for eligible employees Paid holidays & paid vacation
