Production Supervisor

Our client is seeking a Production Supervisor to lead daily manufacturing operations by developing production employees, driving operational performance, and ensuring production goals are achieved safely, efficiently, and with a strong focus on quality. This role requires a hands on leader who can coach teams, improve processes, and collaborate across departments to support a high performing manufacturing operation. Responsibilities Supervise, coach, and develop hourly production employees. Oversee daily production activities to meet safety, quality, and production goals. Partner with Maintenance, Engineering, and other departments to support equipment reliability and efficient operations. Monitor production performance and identify opportunities to improve productivity and operational efficiency. Promote and maintain a strong safety culture while ensuring compliance with environmental and regulatory requirements. Provide ongoing training, communication, and performance coaching to production employees. Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance production processes and plant performance. Maintain accurate production records, shift reports, and operational documentation. Assist with department planning, budgeting, and capital improvement projects. Build strong working relationships across departments to support overall plant performance. Qualifications High school diploma required. Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred. Two or more years of supervisory experience in manufacturing, heavy industrial, or a related production environment. Experience leading hourly production employees in a fast paced manufacturing environment. Strong leadership, communication, and problem solving skills. Ability to analyze production performance and drive operational improvements. Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office and manufacturing or process control systems.
