Physical Therapist (PT) K-12 School-Based Location: Norwalk, Connecticut Setting: K-12 School-Based | In-Person Position Type: Full-Time Make a Difference Beyond the Clinic Cross Country Education is seeking a Connecticut-licensed Physical Therapist (PT) to join a school-based team supporting students across a K-12 educational setting . This is an excellent opportunity for a PT who enjoys working directly with students and collaborating with educators, families, and other related-service professionals to help students reach their highest level of independence. Position Highlights: In-person K-12 school-based setting Provide physical therapy services to students with a variety of needs Develop and implement individualized treatment plans Support student participation, mobility, positioning, and functional independence within the school environment Collaborate with teachers, special education staff, families, and related-service providers Participate in IEP meetings and contribute to students' educational goals Document services, progress, and student outcomes in accordance with school requirements Work as part of a collaborative multidisciplinary team Qualifications: Current Connecticut Physical Therapist (PT) License required Experience working with children or in a school-based setting preferred Strong communication and collaboration skills Ability to work effectively with students across the K-12 age range Commitment to supporting students' academic, functional, and developmental success Why Consider This Opportunity?
