Respiratory Therapist - 12 Hour Nights

Location: Bridgeport, WV

Assignment Duration: This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule: 12-hour night shifts, including weekends as scheduled.

Job Description: The Licensed Respiratory Therapist will function under the supervision of the cardiopulmonary director or supervisor and is responsible for providing basic cardiopulmonary care in general patient care areas. Advanced patient care responsibilities may also be assigned as deemed appropriate by the director or supervisor.

Responsibilities:

• Administer respiratory therapy treatments to patients.
• Monitor patients' progress and document care in the electronic health record system (Epic).
• Collaborate with healthcare team to develop and implement patient care plans.
• Ensure compliance with hospital policies and procedures.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure:

• Active and unexpired Licensed Respiratory Therapist license.
• Experience with Epic electronic health record system.
• Current BLS (AHA) certification.
• Certified Respiratory Therapist (CRT) credential from the NBRC.
