Quality Engineer

Job Title: Quality EngineerJob Description Control production processes through the implementation of inspection plans, failure analysis investigations, and continuous improvement activities. Responsibilities + Plan and conduct the analysis, inspection, design, test, and/or integration of products. + Perform quality reviews of design documentation for compliance, including vendor quality manuals and company quality records. + Perform failure analysis investigations to identify improvement opportunities. + Direct technical and administrative workers engaged in quality assurance activities. + Maintain a working knowledge of government and industry quality assurance codes and standards. + Manage both customer and supplier facing quality functions for the applicable business unit. Essential Skills + Bachelor's Degree in Engineering. + 3+ years of related experience in Quality Engineering. + Knowledge of ISO 9000 and AS9100 policies and procedures. + Knowledge of FAA part 21 and part 145 requirements. + Experience with failure analysis, CAPA, and quality engineering. + Understanding of manufacturing engineering, validation, test procedures, and quality control. + Proficiency in PPAP, corrective action plans, first article inspection, and quality standards. + Familiarity with PFMEA, GD&T, audits, and quality management systems. + Experience in the aerospace industry. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Excellent computer skills in a Microsoft Windows environment. + Excellent communication skills with team and stakeholders. Work Environment The position requires working on-site from Monday to Friday, with a commitment to work one Saturday a month.
