Customer Success Specialist - PEO/EOR
Location: Rockwall, TX - 100% Onsite
Compensation: $50,000-$55,000 annually

Position Overview
Wheeler Staffing Partners is seeking an experienced Customer Success Specialist for a growing client in the PEO/EOR (Professional Employer Organization/Employer of Record) industry. This position is 100% onsite in Rockwall, TX .


The Customer Success Specialist will serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients, helping ensure they receive responsive, accurate, and professional support throughout their relationship with the company. This role will work closely with clients on matters involving employee onboarding, payroll, employee changes, and ongoing workforce administration .


The ideal candidate combines strong customer service and relationship-management skills with hands-on experience in payroll and employee onboarding . This person should be comfortable managing multiple client accounts, resolving time-sensitive issues, and coordinating with internal teams in a fast-paced environment.
Key Responsibilities

• Serve as a primary point of contact for assigned clients and develop strong, long-term client relationships.
  
  
• Manage day-to-day client questions and requests related to payroll, employee onboarding, workforce administration, and employment processes .
  
  
• Guide clients through the onboarding of new employees and ensure required information and documentation are submitted accurately and on time.
  
  
• Coordinate with internal onboarding, payroll, HR, benefits, and operations teams to ensure client requests are completed successfully.
  
  
• Assist clients with new-hire setup, employee changes, compensation updates, terminations, and other employment-related transactions.
  
  
• Review payroll-related information and work with clients to resolve discrepancies, missing information, or processing issues.
  
  
• Help ensure payroll information, employee data, deductions, and other required information are submitted accurately and according to established deadlines.
  
  
• Monitor upcoming payroll and onboarding deadlines and proactively communicate requirements to clients.
  
  
• Track open client requests and follow through to resolution, ensuring clients receive timely updates throughout the process.
  
  
• Troubleshoot client issues and coordinate internally to identify solutions quickly.
  
  
• Educate clients on company processes, procedures, systems, and best practices.
  
  
• Assist new clients with implementation and transition activities as needed.
  
  
• Maintain accurate documentation of client communications, requests, issues, and resolutions within internal systems.
  
  
• Identify recurring client concerns and opportunities to improve processes and the overall customer experience.
  
  
• Escalate complex payroll, HR, compliance, or employee-related issues to the appropriate internal resources.
  
  
• Work collaboratively with internal teams to ensure a seamless experience for both clients and their employees.
  
  
• Manage multiple client accounts and competing priorities in a high-volume, deadline-driven environment .

Qualifications

• 2+ years of customer success, client services, account management, payroll, HR operations, PEO/EOR, or related experience preferred.
  
  
• Previous hands-on experience working with payroll processes is required .
  
  
• Previous experience with employee onboarding and new-hire administration is required .
  
  
• Experience within a PEO, EOR, payroll provider, staffing company, HR outsourcing organization, or similar environment is strongly preferred.
  
  
• Understanding of payroll cycles, employee changes, deductions, new-hire setup, and payroll deadlines.
  
  
• Familiarity with new-hire documentation and employee onboarding requirements.
  
  
• Experience using payroll, HRIS, CRM, or employee management platforms.
  
  
• Strong customer service and relationship-management skills.
  
  
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  
  
• Ability to communicate professionally with client contacts at multiple organizational levels.
  
  
• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple clients and priorities simultaneously.
  
  
• Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  
  
• Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to research issues and drive them through resolution.
  
  
• Ability to remain organized and responsive in a fast-paced environment with strict deadlines.
  
  
• Comfortable working cross-functionally with payroll, HR, onboarding, benefits, and operations teams.
  
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.

Someone coming from a PEO, EOR, payroll company, staffing firm, or outsourced HR environment who has directly supported business clients would be particularly well suited for this opportunity.
