With over 30 years at the forefront of advanced machining ,our client specializes in Design for Manufacturability and Development services for the medical device industry and are hiring for a Swiss CNC Machinist!

Pay: $62K- $83K annually

Job Type: Direct hire

Location: Lino Lakes, MN

Schedule: M-F: 7am-4:30pm

Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled CNC Swiss Machinist with strong experience in multi-axis machining to support precision manufacturing in a regulated environment. This role is responsible for machine setup, operation, and process optimization to ensure quality, efficiency, and consistency in production. Key Responsibilities

• Set up and operate complex multi-axis CNC Swiss machines for high-precision components

• Ensure consistent part quality and process stability during production runs

• Make offsets and machine adjustments to maintain dimensional accuracy and surface finish

• Interpret blueprints and apply GD&T to ensure compliance with specifications

• Troubleshoot machining issues and implement effective solutions to minimize downtime

• Collaborate with programming and engineering teams to improve machining processes and cycle times

• Maintain strict adherence to quality standards in a regulated, precision-driven environment (medical device experience preferred)

Experience & Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required

• 5+ years of experience independently setting up CNC machining jobs

• Strong hands-on machining skills with multi-axis CNC equipment

• Experience with Citizen Swiss machines (L20, L12, M32, K16)

• Familiarity with CAM software such as ESPRIT and GibbsCAM

• Proficient in blueprint reading with working knowledge of GD&T principles

• Skilled in the use of hand tools and precision inspection equipment

• Ability to make offsets and machine adjustments to ensure part quality

• Strong attention to detail and effective problem-solving skills in a manufacturing environment
