As an Armed Security Officer with Allied Universal, you will patrol commercial real estate locations by vehicle, maintain a visible presence to help deter security-related incidents, and respond to situations with professionalism. You will support access control, communicate clearly with tenants and visitors, complete reports, and deliver exceptional customer service. Pay Rate: $21.00 / Hour

Job Schedule:

What You'll Do:

• Provide customer service to tenants, visitors, and/or clients by carrying out site-specific security-related procedures, policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
• Respond to incidents, alarms, and critical situations in a calm, professional, problem-solving manner, escalating concerns according to site procedures.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols of commercial property buildings, parking areas, access points, and perimeter areas to help deter unauthorized activity and identify security-related concerns.
• Monitor access to the location, verify credentials as required, and report suspicious activity, property damage, or maintenance concerns to appropriate personnel.
• Maintain required armed-post qualifications and follow applicable laws, company policies, and site procedures regarding assigned equipment and incident documentation.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess an armed guard card or license.
• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• Be comfortable using a computer or tablet, preferred.
• Possess a state, county, or city-issued security-related license, preferred.
• Be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Possess 1 year of armed security related, corrections, law enforcement or military experience.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
