This job was posted by For more information, please see: Job Title 44-2091 Agricultural Equipment Operators Overview Crops include Green/Red Romaine, Green/Red Oak, Green/Red Leaf, Mizuna, Arugula, Green/Red Chard, Tatsoi, Spinach, Kale, Culinary Herbs, Microgreens, Strawberries, Celery, and Cabbage. Responsibilities Drive and control agricultural equipment to support activities such as tilling soil, planting, cultivating, harvesting crops, and irrigation. Operate mechanized and power‑driven equipment including tractors, planters, sprayers, cultivators, and other equipment. Install and maintain irrigation systems, water lines, irrigation pipes, drip tubing, and ditches. Manually plant, cultivate, harvest vegetables including herbs and leafy greens; use hand tools such as shovels, trowels, hoes, tampers, pruning hooks, shears, and knives. Till soil, apply fertilizers, transplant, weed, thin, prune crops, apply pesticides, and clean, grade, sort, pack, and load harvested products. Assist with farm building and field maintenance, repair fences, repair or cover hoop houses, and maintain greenhouse equipment. Wear assigned personal protective equipment and work clothing and boots or durable footwear; report to work daily in proper attire. Qualifications Minimum 3 months experience operating farm equipment. Experience working with herbs and leafy greens. Ability to comprehend and follow instructions, communicate effectively to supervisors. Must obey all safety rules, basic instructions, and comply with safety, pesticide warning/re-entry, and other essential postings. Clean driving record; ability to obtain an insurable driver’s license if required to drive company vehicles. #J-18808-Ljbffr
