Details Work in a 25-bed High Risk OB unit within a Women's and Children's building Patient ratios range from 1:1 up to 6:1 depending on acuity Charge nurse/CNC coverage each shift with unit secretary support when available Documentation systems used include Connect and Expanse Night shift schedule from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM Schedule requires 3 weekend shifts per schedule Floating required to OB ED, Mother Baby, and Labor and Delivery units Unit performs c-sections, vaginal deliveries, and bereavement care Requirements Active TN or compact RN license required Minimum 2 years of RN experience required Current certifications required: BLS, ACLS, NRP (Advanced 9th Edition), and AWHONN (Intermediate or Advanced) or NCCEFM Must have high risk antepartum, labor and delivery, and c-section experience Experience with magnesium drip administration required GYN experience required Must be able to circulate c-sections US Social Security Number and date of birth required for consideration One professional reference required for most states, two required for Florida and Missouri No gaps in work history of 90 days or more within the past 12 months Additional Information Care for high risk obstetric patients including antepartum, labor and delivery, and postpartum cases Required uniform colors include navy blue, seal blue, and grey scrubs Candidates must live outside a 50-mile radius of the facility, no local candidates accepted American Traveler Job ID P-749532.
