ADMINISTRATIVE Assistant I - Executive Unit / California Natural Resources Agency


This is a Limited Term position for 12 months that may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent.


The reporting location for this position is Sacramento, CA. This position will work under the Supervision of the Special Assistant to the Secretary.

The California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA) is hiring for an Analyst I. Under the supervision of the Special Assistant to the Secretary for the California Natural Resources Agency (CNRA), the Analyst I serves as the concierge greeter on behalf of all tenant departments in the CNRA Headquarters Building and provides administrative support to one to two Deputy or Assistant Secretaries on the CNRA Executive Team. The Analyst I independently performs a variety of technical, analytical, and staff services tasks with a high degree of responsibility, in addition to expert knowledge of the CNRA's operational and organizational structure and awareness of current issues, including contact with high-level state/federal agencies, the legislature, the Governor's Office, and external organizations.


Work Schedule: This position is categorized as Office-Based. The position's job duties are performed at the designated work location in Sacramento 100% of the time. The incumbent's work schedule will be Monday to Friday from 8:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.


Training and Development Assignments may be considered.

Minimum Qualifications

Possession of Minimum Qualifications will be verified prior to interview and/or appointment.
