CAD Designer - Steel Fabrication Details:
- Temp-to-Hire position
- $23.00 to $28.00 / hour
- Full Time work available
- First Shift ( Monday through Friday from 07:00am to 03:30pm )
- Create detailed CAD drawings and fabrication plans for steel canopies and structural components
- Revise and update drawings based on engineering input, production needs, and customer changes
- Collaborate with engineering and fabrication teams to ensure accurate, build-ready designs
- Develop material lists, measurements, and layout details to support manufacturing and installation
- Maintain organized drawing files and documentation in line with company standards
CAD Designer - Steel Fabrication Qualifications:
- Proven experience using CAD software to create detailed technical drawings
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering specifications accurately
- Comfortable working in a manufacturing environment, including indoor and outdoor areas
- Must have basic math skills and experience using a tape measure for precise measurements
- High school diploma or equivalent required; steel-toed boots required for safety operations
- Applicant may be subject to a background check
