Activity Assistant

The Activity Assistant payrate is $15.00 an hour. Actual salary may fall outside of the posted salary range as it is dependent on skills and experience.

DUTIES:

• Assists with planning, coordinating activities: reality orientation, current events, discussion groups, sensory stimulation, cultural activities, religious services, special entertainment, outside trips, special events, and one-to-one visits, as indicated.

QUALIFICATIONS:

• High School Diploma
• One year experience in a social or recreational program in a licensed health care setting preferred. Background in music, art, drama, and dance therapy preferred.
