Within afocused product delivery team, you will be responsible for the iterative development of features and experimentation that directly supportkey business initiatives. A successful candidate will demonstrate a proactive approach to leveraging cutting-edge AI tools to innovate solutionsand significantly enhance development efficiency.What You’ll Do:Develop clean, modular, and reusable code for our enterprise single-page web application for AE.comWrite unit tests to validate functionality taking responsibility for quality as part of your own developmentConstruct A/B experiments to validate feature enhancement viabilityEnhance and innovate core site functionalityParticipate in modernizing legacy Ember components through Next.js transformationLeverage and experiment with AI tooling across the Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) to enhance efficiency and innovation (Google Gemini, Qodo, Applitools, Atlassian Rovo, etc.)Communicate effectively across desks / teams / departmentsHelp project managers help youCollaborate with cross-functional teams driving smart, clean solutionsAnalyze, prioritize, and presentAdvance engineering team efficiencies through process improvementMentor fellow engineersGuide stakeholders, taking their business vision to technical realityIdentify areas of technical improvement in the UI space; plan, define, and lead issues to executionCreate, document, and communicate technical designs based on architectural recommendationsAssist / lead issue resolution with production supportIdentify project risks and communicate proper mitigation plans with project managersWhat You Bring:Bachelor’s or Master’s in Computer Science, Technology or related field; 5+ years relevant experience3+ years’ experience in agile developmentExtensive experience implementing UI with an MVC architectural pattern2+ years’ experience with a single page application framework, such as Next.js / React.js / Vue.js / Angular.jsExtensive experience utilizing a RESTful APIExperience architecting CSS for large scale responsive applicationsNice to have:Extensive experience with Next.js and deep understanding of its ecosystemProven success developing, scaling, and applying robust design systems using Storybook to bridge the gap between design and engineeringHands on experience with Playwright (or similar automation frameworks)Experience with Optimizely (or other enterprise experimentation platforms)Familiarity with Handlebars and legacy web architecturesExperience with Jira / BitbucketHigh transactional e-commerce experienceNative app development (iOS /Android) experiencePerks: Why You’ll Love it HereGenerous employee discountSummer FridaysCasual dress codeHybrid scheduleFOMO events (Exciting company-wide events)Pay/Benefits Information:Actual starting pay is determined by various factors, including but not limited to relevant experience and location.Subject to eligibility requirements, associates may receive health care benefits (including medical, vision, and dental); wellness benefits; 401(k) retirement benefits; life and disability insurance; employee stock purchase program; paid time off; paid sick leave; and parental leave and benefits.Paid Time Off, paid sick leave, and holiday pay vary by job level and type, job location, employment classification (part-time or full-time / exempt or non-exempt), and years of service.
