Isolator Filling and Controls Technician II (11pm-7:30am)

Nature and Scope The Isolation Filling and Controls Technician role involves preventive maintenance of isolation filling equipment/systems used for filling and conveying liquid-filled sterile containers. Responsibilities Supports the assembly, troubleshooting, and qualification of automated systems focused on electrical, software, and control systems. Reads electrical schematics. Assembles and installs machines and subassemblies. Troubleshoots and wires control panels based on electrical schematics. Installs pneumatic plumbing in automated equipment. Troubleshoots, installs, and repairs sensors, actuators, relays, and basic I/O connections. Performs basic electrical troubleshooting and replaces faulty components. Adjusts PLC logic for improved machine operation with engineering support. Conducts equipment preventive maintenance. Identifies and corrects unsafe conditions. Upholds safety expectations and works safely using PPE. Reports unsafe behaviors or equipment and maintains housekeeping of work area. Assists department supervision to ensure departmental goals are met. Performs additional tasks assigned by management. Education and Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required; vocational, trade school certification or associate’s degree highly preferred. 0–2 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing environment. Knowledge of 120V–208V AC/3–24V DC electrical systems; troubleshooting down to electronic components. Knowledge of 3‑phase electrical systems, pneumatics, solid‑state relays, and transformers. Familiarity with cGMP (Current Good Manufacturing Practices). Ability to read and understand engineering electrical schematics and mechanical drawings. Ability to follow SOPs and document activities. Working knowledge of PLC‑based control systems. Willingness to learn/train on Isolator liquid filling machines. Effective communication and ability to work well with minimal supervision. Basic Microsoft Office and Windows skills. Flexibility to work multiple shifts, off hours during shutdown, and some overtime. Physical Environment and Requirements Must wear cleanroom/protective gowning and equipment (goggles, face shields, respirators, protective gloves). Must be able to lift up to 50 lbs. and stand for prolonged periods. Must follow safety programs such as Lockout/Tagout and line breaking. Compensation Expected hourly rate: $26.11–$30.00 (actual compensation based on qualifications).
