The Physical Therapist Assistant  will provide high-quality care to each assigned patient, resident, or client with daily nursing care and services in accordance with the resident/patient/ or client's assessment and plan of care.

Worksite: Hillside Manor Rehabilitation and Extended Care

182-15 Hillside Avenue, Jamaica Estates, NY 11432 

The Physical Therapist Assistant will be responsible for documenting the patient's treatment's status. The successful candidate will also provide treatment and appropriate therapeutic techniques specific to the age and condition of each patient.

Qualifications

Registered Physical Therapist Assistant with current registration to practice in New York State.
Degree from an approved/accredited program/school for Physical Therapy
Professional  long-term Rehabilitation care experience.
Duties

• Provides evaluation and treatments in accordance with professional standards of practice.
• Observe precautions related to infection control and resident/patient privacy and dignity.
• Completes all documentation in a timely and accurate manner, in accordance with departmental, regulatory, and payer standards.
• Assists in maintaining the safe operation of all equipment for the safety of patients.
• Accurately integrates treatment knowledge into the daily education of patients and caregivers.
