A confidential regional litigation firm is seeking an experienced Insurance Coverage Of Counsel attorney to support a defense-side, litigation-focused coverage practice based in Houston. This role is geared toward a coverage litigator who can step into sophisticated policy-related disputes and deliver strong written advocacy and practical counseling.

THE ROLE

Handle insurance coverage litigation matters on the defense side, including policy analysis and coverage positions. Draft and argue motions; manage discovery; take and defend depositions. Prepare case strategy, correspondence, and coverage-related briefing with a strong emphasis on writing quality. Coordinate closely with attorneys and clients to move matters efficiently through litigation milestones.

LOCATION, SCHEDULE AND COMPENSATION

Location: Houston, Texas. Compensation: $150,000 to $225,000 (base salary range).

REQUIREMENTS

Active Texas bar admission. Juris Doctor from an accredited law school. Substantive insurance coverage experience (litigation-focused). Strong legal writing and motion practice skills.
